Reasons not to have a massage. If your dog is suffering from:

Being generally unwell

A fever and/or infection

Clinical shock or fatigue

An open wound or bruising

Undiagnosed pain

Certain types of cancer

Contagious skin conditions

Some heart conditions

Some post-operative cases

Also, massage is not recommended:
After strenuous exercise

If he/she is excessively hot, cold, thirsty or hungry

Within 2 hours of eating (do not feed straight after treatment)

For all these reasons, and more, I require your Veterinarian’s written consent before treating your dog.

I will work with your Vet and/or other canine professionals to help your dog.
